Introduced by Pro Mach at PACK EXPO, Brenton Engineering’s new BantamPro ELS™ top load case packer occupies about the same floor space as hand pack operations, with the added benefit of fully automatic performance.

The BantamPro features interchangeable robot modules from automation partner Schneider Electric. A gantry robot performs 20 picks per minute with product payloads up to 20 lbs., while an ELAU delta 2 robot allows 50 picks per minute and over 50 lbs. To increase capacity, a second delta robot arm and servo-driven product infeeds can even be added – without adding to the controls cabinet.
The new case packer is a good solution for contract packers, specialty product makers, limited time offers and new product launches. The BantamPro is targeted at any packager facing the dilemma of either adding to their labor expense or investing capital in more throughput than they really need.
Plug-and-play, off-the-shelf automation makes the BantamPro economical, reliable and easy to support.
