Didn’t realize that Schneider Electric offers an MES (manufacturing execution system) and OEE (overall equipment effectiveness) solution?

With the acquisition of Citect, Schneider Electric has established a SCADA and MES competency center – and they’re joining Schneider Electric ELAU for the first time at PACK EXPO, booth C-3002.
You’ll also find them in the OMAC Packaging Workgroup booth, C-949, to demonstrate OEE data collection using PackML, the ISA 88.05 standard state model and tag naming convention.
On Wednesday afternoon, Schneider Electric ELAU’s Tom Jensen will host a seminar on the implementation and benefits of the OMAC packaging guidelines in packaging automation systems. Details are available at the OMAC booth.
Schneider Electric ELAU engineers worked for over five years with packagers and other suppliers toward the successful development of the OMAC Packaging Guidelines. ELAU in fact published the first engineering development kit for implementing PackML and distributed it freely to all, including competitors, to help establish the standard.
Schneider Electric ELAU packaging automation controllers employ the OMAC guidelines, and applications engineers assist OEM customers in developing their own PackML migration.
