t’s the biggest PACK EXPO ever, in part because some exhibitors have expanded their exhibit space to accommodate the latest packaging solutions.

A prominent example is Schneider Electric and their ELAU Packaging Solutions, whose 40 foot x 40 foot space (Lakeside Center, E-6413) will highlight a complete automation solution for the estimated 45,000 visitors.

ELAU contributes purpose-built automation systems for mechatronic packaging machinery, while parent Schneider Electric brings both a global reach and everything from energy-saving drives to HMI to I/O to safety circuitry to sensor technologies to drives.

This year’s PACK EXPO will be characterized by a new wave of embedded robotics, the North American introduction of technologies just introduced at interpack in April, and packaging machinery emphasizing new levels of efficiency and flexibility.
