Bag and StickPack form/fill/seal machines and four-sided sachet machines by Hassia Redatron (interpack Hall 6, Stand A74) have been based on servo technology for more than ten years.
And yet, the company’s design engineers still find opportunities for innovation. Now they have introduced a new multi-head dosing auger with single worm gear drive that provides a new level of filling precision.
Sealing time, temperature and pressure parameters can be precisely set at the HMI, and then optimized. Quick-release clamps reduce sealing tool changeover times, and individually servo-driven auger fillers with digital scales allow precise dosing that reduces product ‘giveaway.’
Using Intelligent Servo Modules from ELAU (interpack Hall 5, Stand D19), Hassia Redatron has eliminated 10 conventional servo drives that would have required an additional electrical cabinet compared to the conventional, centralized drive design. Quick-connect, single cable drops substantially reduce wiring and interconnect complexity.
The Hassia Redatron product range responds to the popularity of bag, sachet, pouch and stick pack formats in food, beverage and pharmaceuticals with a common, modular machine program that shares a hygienic, open profile frame design.
