Finpac introduced its new SHM HS 9-axis servo shrink labeler, which combines high production speeds with quick changeovers and ease of use. The new design takes advantage of integrated motion and logic control in a single program running in an ELAU PacDrive C400 automation controller. PacDrive also enables Finpac’s remote diagnostic capabilities and modular software design to reduce its customers’ Total Cost of Ownership.

Because the SHM machines are so compact, they can be easily installed on existing lines and achieve 600 to 800 bpm throughputs.

Features include a fast changeover system, stainless steel construction, optional multiple reel holders to replenish material non-stop, an ejection table for incorrectly or unlabeled containers, and hot air or steam shrink tunnels with one or more sections.

Finpac specializes in filling and decoration/labeling systems, supplying sleeves and labels in addition to both individual application machines and filling/labeling lines, and contract packaging services.
