IWKA used PACK EXPO Las Vegas to debut its new 100 tube per minute TFS 80-1 Tubefilling Machine to the U.S. The company is a market leader in tube fillers, cartoners and blister pack machines.
The TFS 80-1 meets and exceed GMP standards while delivering operating efficiency, flexibility and ease of operation with optimized access to the dosing system and all work stations. The clean, modular design simplifies thorough cleaning and reduced changeover time for both size changes and fitting of closing systems for plastic, metal and laminate tubes.
Controlled by an ELAU PacDrive automation system, the TFS 80-1 features a horizontal tube infeed for efficient tube loading, a horizontal discharge to assure positive carton transfer, and a servo-driven orbital tube transport system.
The IWKA TFS 80-1 is capable of handling standard tube diameters from 10 to 60 mm and tube lengths from 50 to 285 mm, with a dosing range of 1 to 400 ml.
