Marden Edwards’ new servo-driven end-fold wrapper proved as popular at Interpack as at Pakex in the UK and Emballage in France. Their TS75 provides a trailing edge seal allowing uninterrupted graphic treatments of both major sides of a carton. Designed to take full advantage of servo technology, the new wrapper operates at speeds up to 75 cartons per minute.

Compared to traditional end-fold overwrappers, there is no elevating table to transport the carton into the film prior to folding. Instead, the required film length is measured digitally, cut and presented as a curtain through which the carton travels on a servo-driven infeed to be sealed. Servo-driven film presentation is adjustable to carton size and sealing takes place adjacent to the carton edge.

The truly mechatronic machine features a balcony design for ease of cleaning and ease of access. The combination of hygienic design and enhanced graphic treatment is ideally suited for cosmetics, personal care and related products.

Marden Edwards has more than 40 years experience in the design and manufacture of overwrapping and banding systems.
